9. Try drawing the graphs of x, x+2, and x-2. Which one shifted the graph 2 spaces to the left? Use that logic to get your answer.
10. Draw the graphs of both functions. Use a table to help you. For instance, plug in the x-values of -6, -3, 0, 3, and 6 to each equation. Plot those points. Note the different shapes of the two graphs.
11. Factor -225. -225 = -5*45 = 5*5*9 = -5*5*9*9 = -52*92 =-1*52*92
What's the square root of -1*52*92? Hint: The square root of 22*72 is 2*7.
12. Factor 72. 72 = 8*9 = 23 * 32 = 2*22*32. What's the square root of that? Use the same logic as the last problem.
