Physical anthropology in terms of its importance to other fields of anthropology is essentially how certain beliefs and ideas about a culture are solidified. For example say I wanted to know what life is like on a pirate ship? While I can make a thousand guesses without hard evidence like the assortment of cannons from different countries, the left over playing cards, and historical recounting of the time, we would have no evidence to even guess on what a culture was like.
