Is Jesus in Joshua ( OT) ?

Is this Jesus that Joshua is talking too or whom he he sees ? The reason is because any other time in the Bible when a person bows downs to an angel it is told to stop or not to for they are not God but are angles but when Joshua bows down the Angel does not correct him as they often do. I have already heard ard got some pastors and theolagans speculate on it but just want to get your perspective

What joy must have marked the celebration of the first Passover in the Land of Promise! And now, as Israel began to eat the produce of the land, the miraculous manna, their food for forty years, ceased. In modern times, too, Jehovah’s people, ever appreciative of the sacrifice of the “Lamb of God,” have passed on to more solid spiritual food and to deeper understanding of Jehovah’s grand Word of prophecy. They have been strengthened for spiritual warfare. Just as the “prince of the army of Jehovah,” unquestionably the Logos or “Word” (John 1:1), appeared to strengthen Joshua at this point, so Jehovah’s people today have strengthening assurance from God’s Holy Scriptures that the glorified Christ is with them to lead them in theocratic warfare.—Josh. 5:14, 15.

What encounter did Joshua have as he was nearing Jericho? (See opening picture.) 5 Soon after Israel crossed the Jordan, Joshua had an unexpected encounter. As he was nearing Jericho, he met a man carrying a drawn sword. Not knowing who the stranger was, Joshua asked: “Are you on our side or on the side of our adversaries?” To Joshua’s surprise, the warrior revealed his identity. He was none other than the “chief of Jehovah’s army,” who was ready to defend God’s people. (Read Joshua 5:13-15 and footnote.) Although the account in other places refers to Jehovah as speaking directly to Joshua, no doubt God was speaking through his angelic representative, as he often did in the past.​—Ex. 3:2-4; Josh. 4:1, 15; 5:2, 9; Acts 7:38; Gal. 3:19.

You are right that some have said not to bow and worship them. So far what I understand in Joshua 5:13-15 is that Joshua saw a man who said he is captain of the host of the Lord. Joshua did worship. It doesn't say he worshipped the captain. The wording doesn't affirm he actually worshipped the captain. Could be he didn't. I worship God around other people. Angels spoke for God (good angels). When an angel appeared in a burning bush to Moses, it says God spoke. God's angels are around God, or God is around His angels. Let me know what you think. Jewel
