Suppose 16% of listeners of a radio station listen to it while they are at work.

What is the approximate standard deviation of the sampling distribution of the proportion for samples of size 72?

Hi Abigail,

The standard deviation for for the binomial dist. is sd= √(n*p*q) where n=72, p=.16 and q=1-.16=.84

This works out to 3.11.
