How can I get LaTeX fonts into Adobe illustrator?

I am currently trying to add equations created with LaTeXiT straight into Adobe Illustrator CS6, but somehow the "font" changes. I've tried scrolling around the Internet to see if I could find out how to change this but without luck. Is there anybody who knows how to fix this problem so I get my LaTeX fonts into Illustrator?I am working on a Mac.

You will need to download a LaTex font and install it in your computer's font files. try this link: https://ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/Asana-Math . Then drag the folder " Tex-Illustrator" into the folder "/Library/Application Support/ Adobe/Fonts/Regrd/". Then restart your computer. The LaTex fonts will be available in the font list in Illustrator, like any other font.

( An IT tech can help you with these steps if you cannot locate the folder, etc.)
