Illustrator paste in place on one artboard?

Is it possible to past in place on one (selected) artboard instead of all artboards?

Absolutely! In Illustrator, you have the option to Paste In Place on a specific artboard, OR on multiple artboards simultaneously.

To paste an object or group of objects on just one artboard:

•Select Object

•Cut Object

•In Menu choose Edit >Paste In Place

•To paste object or group of objects in the same position on multiple artboards, in Menu choose

Edit >Paste On All Artboards

Oh yes. Make sure you have clicked on the artboard you want to paste on (so it knows which artboard you have selected), then go to Edit -> Paste in Place. Or you can do SHIFT CTL V.
