How do I help a 1-year-old learn words and phrases of a foreign language (English)?

I'd recommend providing the child an English environment where he/she would interact and get to know with the language. At 1 year old, the child can only be introduced to colors, fruits or simple words such as Papa, mama, nana, dada,...etc. By exposing the child with English frequently through videos, songs, bed time stories, conversations, movies, the child will likely be familiar and acquire new languages easier.
