Everything is possible, especially with me and Google.
The mark of the beast of commonly spoken about in pop culutre as a cluster of "666" on the anti-Christ's body. This is Hollywood magic at play. It is a catalyst or something aids any religion/drama driven story. It's a lot more fun to think about it being as easy as that.
First we have to address the scripture in question: Revelation chapter 16. When studying and reading the bible we mustn't rely on a single scripture but read all surrounding scriptures. The set up of the chapter is a prophesy. Don't over think the Bible. It's straight forward. The things you're reading may not be literal just as when you dream of certain things it isn't literal. In Rev. 16:2 it refers to men with the mark of the beast being cursed with a "noisome and grievous sore"
This isn't literally referring to a mark on the flesh but a mark on your heart and whom you worship and those who do not worship the lord and his laws, statues and commandments will suffer such a fate.
Long story short, the mark of the beast isn't really an actual mark.
