Which is better to improve English skills, reading novels or watching English-dubbed movies?

Hello! I would say reading novels. English is my first language and I learned Spanish. While music/television is an important cultural component to learning a language, reading changed my entire journey of language learning. However, if you choose to watch a movie in English I would choose a film already written/produced in that language. Many things can be quite literally lost in translation and doesn't give you the full linguistic experience.
