God does not support divorce. In fact, he "hates it", see Malachi 2:16. Marriage is a covenant between man, woman and God himself. God never created the institution of divorce, man did. When asked about divorce, Jesus replied, 'for this reason man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So then they are no longer two but one flesh'. Jesus further added, 'what God has joined together, let no man separate'. (Mathew 19:4-6). The only exceptions the bible stated that would warrant a divorce, is sexual immorality. Another exception is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 7:15 where the Apostle Paul stated, 'if someone becomes a Christian and the unbelieving spouse refuses to continue in the marriage, then the other is not bound to their spouse. Meaning, the other person is free to remarry/divorce. Hope this answers your question.
