What is the best studying routine that helps to move from intermediate to advanced in English?

I would say challenging yourself more by reading more advanced material and writing essays based on that material. For me, the importance of reading is not stressed enough but reading greatly improves your comprehension vocabulary, grammar and writing skills. It could be novels or actual articles for upper intermediate to advanced students. Practise discussing the themes in the novels or articles with intermediate- advanced students. It may be a bit challenging at first, but if you keep at it, it will get easier. Good Luck!
