I am finding many English sentences to be confusing and I feel as if they do not make any sense or they lack information. How can I solve this issue?

The best way I can advise is to obtain some grammar basics instruction, in addition to the parts of speech. In spoken English, it can be confusing since there are so many dialects (I'm referring to North American English, as opposed to the Queen's English). Regional differences do not help with the confusion factor as well.

Having a more solid understanding of English grammar rules do help, overall.
