I was not a psych. major. But, I believe that neuroanatomy in psychology is still just the study of the broad anatomy of neurons (nerves) and the brain.
But, with regards to psychology, neuroanatomy may be looked at as to how certain structural changes, injuries, chemical ingestion etc... affects the brain and, therefore, behavior and emotion etc...
I remember studying the case of a railroad boss, Phineas Gage, from the 1800's and a after a stick of dynamite suddenly exploded a tamping rod went right through his skull severing his corpus callosum (the body of neurons connecting both hemispheres of the brain). He survived and his behavior changed a lot. He no longer was able to perform as a strong leader. Often, he would lose his temper and had difficulties with relationships. But, he formed strong bonds with animals.
I hope that at least helps with part of your question.
