2. Peripheral Nervous System: transmits information to Central Nervous System receptors. Branches off into two more systems.
3. Somatic Nervous System → skeletal muscle (Motor Neurons)
4. Neurotransmitter Involved: ACh
5. Receptors involved: Nicotinic
6. Autonomic Nervous System → smooth muscle, cardiac muscle, glands, GI tract; Branches off into another two systems
7. Sympathetic Nervous System → Fight or Flight
8. Neurotransmitters involved: Epinephrine & Norepinephrine
9. Receptors involved: Beta-Adrenergic
10. Parasympathetic Nervous System→ rest and digest
