The word "doosheezeh" is used in very formal documents referring to an unmarried lady. People are never addressed this way unless during their wedding ceremony. Normally the religious figure (or a person who is the equivalent of the Justice of the Peace) uses that word to ask a woman if she will take a man to be her lawfully wedded husband, and it usually goes like this: "Esteemed Doosheezeh, do I have the permission to wed you to Mr. Smith?"
I hope this helps.
