I would highly recommend a tutor for this. Someone to just have basic conversation with on a regular basis. They can help you get more comfortable with learning English. From my own experience in learning Japanese as a second language. The best way to learn was just go out and talk with people, even if you make mistakes it'll be ok. As long as you are trying that's what counts. This helped me learn a lot of Japanese in a shorter period of time. I recommend the same to you.
