which celsius temperature is the person considered to have the symptom?

A person is considered to have a certain symptom when his or her temperature is higher than 100.04 Fahrenheit.
 
The formula
F=9/5c+32
can be used to covert Celsius temperatures C to Fahrenheit temperatures F

That's from subtracting the 32 from both sides.  100.04-32=68.04

Oh I'm sorry, the numbers are correct, but I misspoke about where it was from.  Subtracting 32 is the prior step, and that gets you 68.04.  The next step you want to get rid of the 9/5 still multiplied to your unknown C, and you do this by multiplying by the reciprocal of 9/5, which is 5/9.  You can think of this as two steps.  Multiply by 5, then divide by 9, or one step of multiplying by 5/9.  That gives you the final 37.08.  Sorry for the confusion.
