Because excretion is the elimination of waste from an organism or cell, the skin is an excretory organ due to the eccrine and apocrine sweat glands. Some would consider the sudoriferous glands of the ear canal to be excretory in nature due to the fact that they produce a "modified" sweat called cerumen (earwax).
