Is any punctuation required here?

Blessed are we to join today in the celebration of a new life that is on the way.

I agree with Emily, and cannot help but notice that the sentence reads like the notation in a greeting card. If one were to present it in three lines... the first ending with "today", the second with "life", and the third with "way", it would actually have nice poetic "Hallmark haiku" meter. My rule of thumb for commas is to place them where one would normally pause to take a breath.
