Best way to understand and remember is first divide the nervous system into Central and peripheral and the peripheral into Sympathetic and parasympathetic. We need to Know the functions of each part and the specific nerves in those parts of Brain and spinal cord. Learn each part separately and then correlate one and other for better understanding.
