how to use 受欢迎 in the past tense?

I'm a bit confused on how to use A受的欢迎 in the past tense. Would you say "可是这家餐厅已经受了所有外国人的欢迎。 or 这家餐厅已经收到了所有外国人的欢迎？ Thanks for any help in advance!

I like Yiran's sentence: 这家餐厅很受外国人欢迎。

For a little more emphasis, you can also say 这家餐厅是很受外国人欢迎的。

是 ... 的 is used often to describe events or situations happened in the past, such as “你们是在哪儿认识的?” (Where did you meet?). For more examples and explanations please refer to the book “Modern Mandarin Chinese Grammar” by Claudia Ross and Jing-heng Sheng Ma.
