Influence of alcohol on brain cells?

As far as I know, drinking alcohol is killing cells in the brain. But is it linear? E.g. if I have 1.0 per mil and it kills 1000 cells will 2.0 per mil kill 2000 cells?

In normal dosages, alcohol (ethanol) does not KILL brain cells. This is a myth. Certainly, excessive concentrations of alcohol can and will kill cells, but not under normal conditions. So, what exactly is your question? 1.0 per ml makes no sense? 1.0 what? 1.0 g/ml? 1.0 mole/ml? 1.0 tons/ml?
