Here's a list of all the question words and what they mean:

**This is the only question word that has match in gender when paired with feminine nouns

*Note: These question words all have accent marks. This is an important distinction for words like “qué” and “cómo,” because without the accent marks they become words with different meanings.  There is also an important distinction between "por qué" (as two words, and an accent), which means "why" and "porque" (as one word and without an accent), meaning "because."

Examples of Spanish question words would be "qué" (what) or "cómo" (how). These are just words you use to ask someone a question and get information from them. For example,"cómo te llamas?" means "what is your name". "Qué quieres comer?" would mean "what do you want to eat".
