Mark M. is correct. In order for a ratio to be equivalent to 5 to 9, each number must be multiplied by the same integer. However, some of the answers are incorrect because the equivalent ratio must be stated in the same order as the original. For instance, 5 to 9 MUST be written 30 to 54, NOT vice versa.
