Scholars argue many different themes as the "main message" of the Bible. Generally speaking, the main message of the Bible is the proclamation of salvation from eternal death, sin, and broken relationship with God by belief in the personal application of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to pay for sins, ransom sinners, and mediate between God and mankind. This is the central event and message that every chapter of the Bible eventually points to.
