I've never condensed a log problem that had 3 subtractions in a row, but the rule should still hold true:
Log A - Log B = Log (A/B) (In words, that's Log of A minus the Log of B equals the Log of A divided by B).
Also, subtraction is done as you read from left to right. So, I would do something like this:
log1/2(logM - logN - logP) = log1/2(logM/N - logP) = log1/2(log[M/N]/P) = log1/2(logM/NP)*
*Note: log([M/N]/P) can be rewritten as log(M/NP)
M ÷ P = M * 1 = M
N N P NP
I'm not sure if the log of a log can be simplified further. If it can go further, this at least gets you started.
