Whimsy or Whimsicality?

When would I use the word "Whimsicality" over "Whimsy"? The definitions I've read do not draw a distinction between the two.

Whimsy is defined, according to Merriam-Webster, as a sudden, impulsive and unmotivated idea or action.

Whimsicality is the inclination to whimsy or be in a state of whimsy. Whimsy is used as a noun or verb and whimsicality is an adjective.
