These sort of things typically vary from teacher to teacher. However, there is a general format. Typically, the introduction paragraph "sets the scene", meaning that it explains the setting and gives context and foreshadowing for the narrative. The body paragraphs tell the story itself, and the conclusion reflects of the lessons/moral/"so what" of the narrative. So, that would mean that technically the introduction could be considered descriptive.
