Can you help me with spanish phrasing?

How would I make these phrases into sentences???

Hi Hannah, The words in these phrases are all in the correct order, but you will have to conjugate the first verb (and only the first verb) to make the sentence work. The second verb should be left in the infinitive form.

Example:

1. Nosotros deseamos encontrar una cura (We desire to find a cure).
2. Luis piensa ser bioquímico. (Luis thinks about being a biochemist)
3. Mi madre quiere comprar un reproductor de DVD (My mother wants to by a DVD player).

#4 - Marisa me ensena usar el telescopio. (The 2nd 'n' in ensenar is pronounced enyay since it has a diacritical mark on it). Marisa teaches me to use the telescope.

#5 - El profesor trata de explicar el problema. The professor tries to explain the problem.

#6 - Acabar is to finish/end/complete something, and romper is to break, tear, or shatter so this sentence confuses me. I guess the translation might be I have just broken my digital camera.Therefore, Yo acabo de romper mi camera digital. Camera is spelled the same in American and Spanish.

#7 - Ustedes deben observar el experimento. They should observe the experiment. (deber is must or should)

#8 - Tu puedes contratar el ingenierio. (hire/engage) engineer is un o el ingeniero o una o ella ingeniero? You can hire the engineer. (Since Tu is used, you are familiar with the person who is speaking to you).

I tried to finish the section since I noticed some exceptions in #4-#8.
