Actually it does factor

x(x+3)=208

x2 +3x=208

x2 +3x - 208 = 0

(x+16)(x-13) = 0

x= -16. discard as can’t have a negative distance

x=13

So dimensions are 13 and 16

In case you can’t factor use quadratic equation to solve
