Help with Command of Evidence Questions

Hello, can someone suggest a viable strategy for dealing with command of evidence questions (both literal comprehension and inference). I keep on confusing pairs of answer choices.

An excellent strategy is to train to think like the test maker! I have created my own reading strategies which when implemented will boost reading scores by at least 100 points on the SAT and 3-4 points on the ACT!

As you noticed two answer choices are very similar and you will need to practice discerning what is the best answer!
