It is generally acceptable to underline/italicize the tile of a books series in the same way that you would the title of a single book. An exception to consider: if the series does not have an official title/trilogy name/etc. you could put it in quotes (e.g. I read the "Ramona" books by Beverly Cleary as a child but my friend preferred to read books from A Series of Unfortunate Events). Hope this helps!

Hello—
You do not need to change the font for a series of books; the font should be the same throughout.

You would italicize the name of the series. Once you have done that, you can put the names of the individual books in quotes.

The font should be the same as your text. The standard MLA font is 12 pt. Times New Roman.05/03/19
