The line will cross the x-axis when y = 0, so....
Use y = 0 in your equation,
6x + 2(0) = - 6
6x = - 6
x = - 1
So the x-intercept is (-1, 0).
The y-intercept will occur when x = 0, so substitute ...
6(0) + 2y = - 6
2y = - 6
y = - 3
So the y-intercept is at (0, -3).
