Let x = the cost of the dryer
Since the washer costs $92 less than the dryer, x - 92 is the cost of the washer
Together they cost $808
So the cost of the dryer (x) + the cost of the washer (x-92) = 808
2x - 92 = 808
2x = 900
x=450
So the cost of the dryer is $450
