Should we pronounce "T" in Won't?

I have noticed that some native English speakers do not pronounce the "T" in "won't" in the middle of a sentence. For example: > I won't make you happy sounds like: > I wo make you happy Is this correct ?

If we don't pronouns the t at the end it will sound to some speakers as won a totally different verb.

In casual American accented speaking, you will hear the 'n' but not the 't'.

I won' make you happy.

The 'n' sound will stop quickly, so it is almost a 't' but not quite.
