Find the ratio of the circumference of the smaller circle to the larger circle. On circle has a radius of 6 in. and circle B with a radius of 12 in.

The ratio of the smaller circle to the larger one is the same their circumference ratio.

 

r1/r2=2*pi*r1/(2*pi*r2)=C1/C2

 

Hence the ratio of the circumference of the smaller circle to the larger one is:

 

6/12=1/2.
