Jimmy will play three games in the tournament he scored 19 and 23 points in the first two, as a minimum Jimmy has to score X points in the last game to meet the minimum average of 30 points:

This can be written as (19+23+X)/3 = 30 , solve for X , (19+23+X)=90, X = 90-23-19 = 48

Jimmy has to score Y points in the last game to meet the maximum average of 35 points:

This can be written as (19+23+Y)/3 = 35 , solve for X , (19+23+X)=105, Y = 105-19-23 = 63

The range of points Jimmy has to score in his last game is [48,63]
