Lexiva is available in 350mg tablets. How many mg will the patient take in 22 days?

Abacavir: 300 mg twice per day = 600 mg/day x 20 day = 12,000 mg x 1 tab/100 mg = 120 tabs

Lexiva: 700 mg x 1 in a.m. = 700 mg. 700 mg x 2 in p.m. = 1400 mg. Total = 2100 mg/day x 22 day = 46,200 mg total in 22 days

Sig for fosamprenavir (Lexiva) is take one 700 mg tablet by mouth every morning, and take two 700 mg tablets by mouth every evening.

Sig for Isentress (Raltegravir) is take 4 100 mg tabs by mouth 4 times a day
