Is “not after you’ve eaten” correct grammar?

I made a statement and would want to know if it’s correct ... my girlfriend dint want to eat and wanted me to stop bugging her so I told her this ... “ not after you’ve eaten” implying I’ll stop only after she’s eaten please is that correct ?
