Great Geometry tutor
a) Volume of one ball = 4/3 × pi × r^3 = 4/3×Pi×(2.8)^3 = 92 cm^3
b) Volume of 3 balls = 3×92 = 276 cm^3
c) Volume of can = pi×r^2×h = pi×(2.8)^2×(6×2.8) = 414cm^3
d)Volume of empty space in the can = 414–276 = 138cm^3
e) Percentage of can filled by racquetballs = (276×100)/414 = 67%
I don’t have data for tennis balls to compare the percentage of space filled by tennis balls.
