Mrs. Jones fifth grade class has 26 students in which 11 of the students are girls.  Find the ratio of boys to girls in lowest terms

Find the number of boys and then you can find the ration

 

if there are 26 students and 11 are girls

 

then 26 -11 = 15 the number of boys

 

so the ratio of boys to girls is 

 

15/11
