What is the difference in writing a quadratic equation?

The quadratic for the roots 3/7 and 10/3 is -21x2+79x-30.

But is there a difference if it was written as 21x2-79x+30?

Okay this make perfect sense, but how do I figure out which standard form it is when the roots -5/2 and 7 if the standard form is f(x)=(2x^2)-9x-35 or f(x)=(-2x^2)+9x+35?

As far as I know the standard form for a quadratic equation with specified roots had a positive leading coefficient.
