By the power vested in me, I will IMPUTE the decimal and make it 1.14 cups per pie.

That way the problem and answer make more sense!

You need 7 * 1.14 cups = 7.98 cups

SInce 1 cup weighs 99 grams, 7.98 cups weighs 7.98*99= 790.02 grams

=7.9002 kg <--- 1 kg = 1000 grams

BUT, 1 kg = 2.23 lb

So you need 7.9002 kg *2.23 lb = 17.617446

which will round to 17 and 3/4 pounds
