You can use either "first," as long as they are in the same for each coordinate.
For the pair (-4, 7), (0, -1)
(7 - (-1) / (-4 - 0) = (-1 - 7) / (0 - (-4))

asked 01/23/19For example (-4,7) (0,-1) .....I did some problems and they get the answer by using the biggest x or y first in the slope formula and some math problems do it the way I was taught....y^2 - y^1 divide By x^2 - x^1
