Equation of line that passes through (3,0) and (0,4)

The title is all you need to know really would help out i havent slept yet

first find the slope m = rise/run = (4-0)/(0-3) = -4/3

so equation of line is y = -4/3 *x + b where b is the y-intercept

now use one of the point to find b

4 = -4/3 * 0 + b

b = 4

so y = -4/3 *x + 4
