Then, you can find a person listed from that organization and send he or she an email with a professional invitation for participation and ask that a representation from their organization or group be assigned as a committee member. After you have the right people, you can work on logistics. A meeting space is needed, note taker, person to facilitate the meeting. You could use an online calendar tool to find a date and time that works for the group. Typically, a kick-off meeting is the best way to get started in order to allow members to meet each other and learn about the objectives for the task force, ask questions and understand their roles on the committee.
