Mayfield High School sold tickets for a school musical. Seats in the auditorium cost $6 each balcony seats cost $4. A total of 200 tickets was sold and $960 was collected. How many of each type of ticket was sold?

Let A = number of auditorium seats sold and B = number of balcony seats sold

You know that the total number of tickets sold, so A + B = 200

You also know how much each seat costs and the total you collected, so $6A + $4B = $960
