How to find the height of a building

My teacher gave us a project to measure the angle of the top of a building and find the height of that building. Do we subtract 90 from the angle we got since it’s a 90 degree triangle? My measurement was 41°

You will need to know how far from the building you took your angle of elevation reading.

Then the height of the building divided by the distance from the building equal the than of 41degrees.
