I can't concentrate

I am struggling in my math class. I listen to the teacher and understand what he is saying,but when I get on my own and start working I completely forget what he says.My mind goes blank. What can I do to help this.

Another thing you can do is to listen to the lecture and take notes. Ask for someone else's notes so you can have their point of view of what was covered.

Take notes in class. When you're working on your own you won't have to rely only on your memory, you'll have examples and all the important information from the lesson that you need for your homework, tests, or quizzes.
