If I submit a pdf file containing the 22-pages of textbook information to be covered in the Spanish tutoring session, can the audio and video take place on an iPhone with Facetime? Or must you have a camera on your PC for the online tutoring to work?

Hi Leonard,

Unfortunately in order to use Wyzant's online tutoring platform, you must be at a laptop or desktop computer (or, I imagine, a tablet). You do not have to use the camera during online sessions, however, so if you are having camera issues, but your audio still works, then you are all set! I even once had both video and audio problems with the online session, but I needed the whiteboard/text editor features, so I stayed in the session with my student and we simply communicated on the phone while having our lesson. But I rarely experience those kinds of technical issues.
